Take the next step toward becoming a qualified counsellor with our robust and supportive Certificate in Counselling Skills. This course offers 90 hours of face-to-face training and is perfect for those ready to build a strong foundation in counselling theory, ethics, and practice.

​Over five engaging modules, you'll:

• Learn to work ethically in helping relationships

• Explore Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive Behavioural theories

• Practise and develop core counselling skills

• Deepen your awareness of self, identity, and difference

• Engage in reflective work and group learning

 

Assessments include written work, presentations, skills sessions, and group participation. You’ll also gain access to online course materials via Google Classroom throughout the programme.

Successful completion prepares you for Diploma-level practitioner training, giving you the confidence and competence to move forward professionally.

Certificate in Counselling Skills is Quality Checked by the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society.

This course alone is not a route to the Accredited Register, nor does it fully equip a graduate to practice as a qualified counsellor or refer to themselves as 'a specialist' in the subject matter unless they have other qualifications/training to support this
