Designed for qualified counsellors who are at least three years post-qualification and have completed a minimum of 450 client hours, this 30-week advanced programme provides structured, rigorous development for practitioners ready to evidence practice at SCoPEd Column B level.

This is not a return to foundational training. It is a professional refinement year.

The course is explicitly designed to support accreditation progression by enabling counsellors to clearly demonstrate Column B competence, autonomy, and ethical maturity in line with current and emerging professional standards. Every element of the programme is intentionally mapped to Column B expectations, ensuring your learning translates into defensible, recognisable professional evidence.

Through 30 carefully sequenced sessions, you will deepen clinical reasoning, strengthen professional identity, and develop confidence in working with complexity, uncertainty, and diverse client presentations. The emphasis is not on adding more techniques, but on consolidating your capacity to think, assess, formulate, justify, and evidence your work at an advanced level.
